Habakkuk 2:2

“And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” 

As a child Janah asked her mother, “What’s the best college?” Not knowing any other answer than to respond with, “Harvard,” Cyntria offered her daughter a dream. From that moment, the only thing Janah knew was that SHE was going to Harvard. Why? Because it is the best. 

And at the young age of 8 years old, Janah’s mother recalled a moment when an adult asked her young daughter what she wanted to be when she grew up. Without hesitation, Janah replied, “President of the United States.” 

Six years later Janah again made this declaration from her bubble gum pink bedroom during COVID on a LIVE zoom call with 29 other college bound peers. 

As the bible verse states, make the vision plain; and so she did. Janah does not mince words. Today, meet Janah. 

Janah came to us just after sophomore year when she joined Dream College Academy and later became a private client and alumna of College Essay Bootcamp.  As a private client there is nothing we did not talk about, think through, plan for, and execute. With regular meetings and the use of the Marco Polo app, Janah had me as coach, mentor, and cheerleader at every step of the way.
